The capital of Italy’s Tuscany region and birthplace of the Renaissance is Florence. Home to renowned masterpieces of art and multiple landmark architecture, one of Florence’s most iconic sites is the Florence Cathedral. With its bell tower and terra-cotta-tiled dome which can be climbed up, the view from the top is breathtaking. The other attractions in Florence is the Galleria dell’Accademia which displays Michelangelo’s “David,”. And the Uffizi Gallery showcases the outstanding works by Botticelli such as “The Birth of Venus” and da Vinci’s “Annunciation.” However, unfortunately we couldn’t take photographs of it while we were there. But I mentally went “click, snap… snap, snap and click!”
