Our driver sped down the autobahn as much as he could to make up for loss time in an earlier traffic jam while we were in the city. We had to rush to make it for the last boat out that evening. The driver was as relieved as we were, that we made it, when we screeched into the parking lot just in time for us to hop out and race across the road and onto the boat. Woo-hoo!
It was exhilarating to cruise down the Rhine at dusk and watch the gorgeous never ending panorama of castles pass us by on both sides.
And away we go!
Such superb architecture and lovely colours.
One of the castles turned into a hotel. Would love to stay there!
