Munich is the capital of Bavaria, and home to countless numbers of centuries-old buildings. For German beer lovers, a once in a lifetime pilgrimage to the land where the annual Oktoberfest celebration is held is a must. With its many vast beer halls, one that is most visited is the famed Hofbräuhaus, founded in 1589.

Strolling through Marienplatz, which is a central square in the city centre, part of the Old Town.
In the mesmerizing Old Town, gazing at the Gothic Neues Rathaus (town hall), waiting for its popular glockenspiel show.
The interior of Frauenkirche (Dom zu Unserer Lieben Frau), also known as the Cathedral of Our Dear Lady.

Here, the legend about a footprint in a square tile at the entrance to the nave, the so-called “devil’s footstep” is renowned, but I didn’t take a photo of it.
A lovely pooch with its equally lovely mistress inside a shopping mall in Munich. Another reason for me to love Europe! Dogs everywhere!
