The famous Bran Castle, commonly known as “Dracula’s Castle” is situated near Bran and a short ways off from Braşov city. We took a bus to Bran from Brasov. It is Romania’s national monument and landmark. The brooding fortress is situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia.
It was an interesting castle to visit and the interior of the fortress was extremely well maintained.
