Bucharest, located in southern Romania, is the country’s capital and commercial center. One of its most popular structures is the massive, communist-era Palatul Parlamentului government building, that has a mind blowing 1,100 rooms with more than half the entire building underground.
Bucharest is a very busy city, and it reminded me a lot of home. The constant hustle and bustle of life, which I was used to.
We took a stroll through the old town and were treated to some wonderful sights. Of the few we managed to see, we came across the Biserica Sfantul Anton – Curtea Veche, the Unirii Square, the Statue of Trajan and the She-wolf, the Stavropoleos Monastery and the BNR Palace.
